SINGAPORE: Electronic road pricing (ERP) rates will go up by S$1 from Aug 1 at four expressway locations, including the northbound CTE after PIE and the AYE after Jurong Town Hall towards the city.
All employees were allowed to return to the workplace from Apr 26, an increase from the previous limit of 75 per cent of those who could work from home.
The Disease Outbreak Response System Condition (DORSCON) level was also lowered from Orange to Yellow, and limits on group sizes were removed.
“To manage congestion at these locations, ERP rates will be adjusted by S$1 with effect from Aug 1 at the following four locations during the eight specific time periods,” LTA said on Wednesday.
Rates for the other previously announced timeslots and gantries remain unchanged.
"After the adjustment from Aug 1, the number of locations and timeslots charged is still significantly lower than the number charged pre-COVID," said LTA.
It added that it will continue to monitor traffic speeds and congestion levels closely and assess if ERP rates need to be adjusted further.
